Bad today. I’ve been training the last few months for a running event called the Dam tot Dam loop. It’s a 16km run. It’s the biggest running event of he year here in Holland.

Last week after my training I felt some pain in my right knee. I decided to give it some days of rest. So today was the day I would do my final training run before the event this Sunday.

After running for about 10 minutes the pain started to come up. 5 minutes later it was to much to run on. I desided to just walk for a few minutes and then continue. But unfortunatly this didn’t help… It feels like there are knifes stinging in my knee right now. So there is absolutly no change I’m gonna run 16km on Sunday…. F*CK!!!!!!!!

As sport I do running. Currently I’m training for the Dam to Dam walk. It’s the biggest running event in Holland. It’s 10 English miles (16,1 KM). You walk from the Dam in Amsterdam to the Dam in Zaandam (Dam to Dam).

Today I got up early and wasn’t planning to do a long running session. Just wanted to see how it went. It felt good so i Thought what the heck I’m going for the 10 Englise Miles right now!. And I did WHOOT!! First time I walked this distance. And yes I’m kinda proud of myself

(but my legs hurt…..)

For Christmas eve dinner I had prepaid a soup with accompanying bread. It was the first time I had made bread from scratch. I must say that the result turned out very well. The most important part: it tasted very good too!

2 weeks ago I had 2 birthmarks removed. Today I had the results. Everything was ok. Just some regulare pigment spots, nothing more.

So as we say in good Dutch-English: “nothing-on-the-hand”!

About Me Birthmarks

Last wednesday I had some birthmarks removed. It was a preventive operation. The doctor dint think it was anything special, but he wanted to be safe, so he removed them whit his knife! So no I have two nice bandages on my leg and I can’t shower for 3 days, … arggh.
I’m getting the stitches removed in 2 weeks, that’s also the moment I’ll hear the results from the lab.
