Today I finally got my Popcorn Hour C-200 media streamer/player in the mail. It’s a device that you connect to you TV and computer / NAS / USB drivers / etc. It allows you to play music, video, foto’s and more from those device sources. It’s a great device and I’m gonna install / configure it this evening! Whoot can’t wait
Edit: Just heard today that I’m one of the thousand lucky few in the WORLD to own this machine! (500 in Europe, 100 in the Netherlands)
Recently I’ve been watching a lot of documentaries about space. I love to watch this kind of video. It’s so amazing what lies in the far reaches of our universe. A topic I want to bring to attention was the size of the universe itself.
In 2004 scientists used the Hubble space telescope to take a long duration picture of a tiny part of the universe. The camera was focused on a fixed spot and open for light for multiple days. The result is stunning. Thousands of galaxies in a single picture! Just from on tiny patch of sky.
There are billions of galaxies in the universe each holding billions of stars (just like our sun). It is said that there are as many stars in the universe as there are grains of sand on all the beaches of the earth.
It would be a real coincidence if our SUN was the only star with a planet with advance life on it, won’t it
But that’s another topic.
Here’s a video (in HD) of the Hubble photo shot of the thousands of galaxies. Enjoy!
Recently I got this video forwarded. It’s a guy that ‘was’ one of the fastest climbers in the world.
Apart from the fact that this is a great clip, something else was also very cool and unexpected about this video. The fact that it made my hand palms sweat. It does that every time I watch the video.
Later I heard that this is normal when watching videos like this.
I already miss Michael Jackson. He’s dead is a great loss. The influence he had on people was enormous. It’s bigger then most of us know an think. A good example of this is the video below. I’m not gonna spoil the fun, but it’s great. Have fun watching…
Last night when I was on my bike, I saw a red bright light high up in the sky. I stopped to take a closer look and tried to focus more. I was standing in front of a building. Then suddenly 5 similar light came from behind the building. It was just the view that the building was blocking, because the lights were very high up in the sky.
The lights were red/orange an brighter then anything other in the normal sky.
Ok, I like UFOs and the stories around it, but I’m also very skeptic when it comes to the realness of these things. I’m just not sure what I saw yesterday, it was probably something else, but it was indeed strange but both exiting to see
I tried to make a video with my phone, its crappy quality, but at the end of the video you can see 3 small light dots.
This is a very handy tool to take a screen grab and share it in 1 click with your friends. For example: it’s great to use it in MSN or Skype sessions when you are working on a website or on something else.
Here’s the full description:

This application let’s you grab (capture) a piece of your screen. The image is then automatically uploaded to the GrabOut™ server by the application and it instantly returns a URL for you to quickly share the image with your friends.
This is great. Unbelievable. Scientist discovered a lost city in Peru.
Quoted from ´Mail Online´
A lost city discovered deep in the Amazon rain forest could unlock the secrets of a legendary tribe. Little is known about the Cloud People of Peru, an ancient, white-skinned civilisation wiped out by disease and war in the 16th century. But now archaeologists have uncovered a fortified citadel in a remote mountainous area of Peru known for its isolated natural beauty
It is thought this settlement may finally help historians unlock the secrets of the ‘white warriors of the clouds’. The tribe had white skin and blonde hair - features which intrigue historians, as there is no known European ancestry in the region, where most inhabitants are darker skinned. The citadel is tucked away in one of the most far-flung areas of the Amazon. It sits at the edge of a chasm which the tribe may have used as a lookout to spy on enemies.
